State and Industry News for November 23, 2022 City of Tempe Expanding Proposed Ordinance to Prohibit Sales of ALL Flavored Tobacco Products Tempe’s Human Services and Community Safety Committee announced that it will hold a virtual committee meeting on Wednesday, December 7 at 12 noon. The committee will consider updating the proposed ordinance on tobacco and vapor to include ALL flavored tobacco products (including mint and menthol).

Arizona Retailers Experiencing Fuel Theft Using Pulsar Manipulation Devices Arizona retailers have been hit by criminal groups stealing fuel (especially diesel) by installing a pulsar manipulation device into the fuel pump. This trend started in Florida last year and has spread to several other states. It is my understanding that arrests have been made in several cases across the country and in the state.
