FDA Introduces Rule to Ban Menthol and Flavored Cigars

Last week the federal Food and Drug Administration released its proposed rule to ban the use of menthol and other flavors in cigarettes and cigars.

Last month, APMA participated in a meeting with the federal Office of Management and Budget to voice concerns about the rule.

As of May 4th, there will be an open comment period (the 6th of 9 steps in the federal rule making process), to allow public input. It is critical that the FDA and Biden administration hear from you on this important issue.

Stay tuned for a call to action and be sure that your voice is included in the fight!
