Governor Ducey’s Executive Order Lifts COVID-19 Restrictions on Businesses

On Thursday, Governor Doug Ducey issued an executive order that rolls back many of the restrictions associated with COVID-19.

Business guidance transitions to recommendations under the order. It is up to the business owner to determine whether to require masks for customers or employees. Local mask mandates are no longer in force.

The Governor noted that three million residents have been vaccinated, hospitalizations are at the lowest level since September, 10 weeks of declining case counts, opening of vaccine appointments to Arizonans 16 years or older.
