On a party line vote, the Senate Commerce Committee passed SB 1501 that would incentivize private companies to install electric vehicle charging infrastructure at their existing businesses. At a stakeholder meeting with utilities, there was resistance to any version of this bill advancing. We need your help to encourage Senators to support the bill on the floor.

The bill to make possession, manufacture or knowing use of pulser manipulation devices a felony (SB 1177) passed the Senate 20-9 last week. It crossed over to the House and was assigned to the House Judiciary Committee.
ADEQ Director Nominee Karen Peters started at the agency last week, but her hearing before the Senate Director Nominations Committee has been twice delayed. Chair Hoffman stated that there was concerning information brought to light about her and additional research would need to be done before her confirmation hearing
