Scholarship Foundation Awards Most Funds (Again) with $87,000 in Scholarships
The Arizona Petroleum Marketers Association is thrilled to announce that the APMA Scholarship Foundation (“the Foundation”) has made its 2021 scholarship awards to sixteen students worth $87,000 if eligibility requirements are met. Since its formation in 2007, the Foundation has paid out over $475,000 in scholarship awards to 108 students.
The Champlin Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Grant Hagaman. Grant is a state champion pole vaulter who plans to attend Grand Canyon University in the fall. He will be pursing a bachelor of science in biology. During COVID, he drove from Flagstaff to Phoenix each week to complete his pole vault training and balanced work, school and athletic preparations.

Applicants participated in an application and interview process before being selected for awards varying from $10,000 to $2,000. To maintain their eligibility, awardees must sustain a 3.0 cumulative grade point average.
Scholarships are available for APMA member employees who are working on a degree to advance in their company as well as employees’ dependents, spouses, children or grandchildren who are high school seniors, college undergraduates or graduate students. Any accredited post-secondary program, including trade schools, will qualify.
