APMA Releases Annual Legislative Session Summary
APMA has released its annual legislative recap document. The Legislature spent more than seven weeks of the session in recess due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Only 90 bills became law though over 1600 bills were introduced. Bills supported and opposed by the association mostly did not reach the finish line this year. This makes the 2020 election cycle, especially in the State House with a one-member Republican majority, vital.
