Eligibility

Applicants must be:
1. APMA member company’s employee or a spouse, child, grandchild or dependent of an employee;
2. Enrolled in or applying to enroll in an accredited college, graduate or other post-secondary program; and
3. Able to maintain a 3.0 cumulative grade point average.

 

Awardees must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 to continue to receive scholarship payments.

Past awardees are encouraged to reapply for additional scholarship funds if they are still in school when their initial award has run out.  They can request a streamlined “Renewal Application”.

 

Process

Students interested in a scholarship must complete the Application and send it electronically to APMA, along with all required application materials by April 30.  All application materials collected in a single .pdf file format is preferred.

You will receive a confirmation email once your application has been received; please contact APMA if you do not receive a confirmation.

Applicants are responsible for gathering and submitting all necessary information.  All application materials is considered confidential and is reviewed only by the Foundation’s Trustees.

Some applicants may be selected to be interviewed by the Foundation Trustees.

A limited number of scholarships are awarded in June. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, religion, sex, disability or national origin.

Scholarship checks are mailed to each recipient’s home address upon proof of continued eligibility.

 

Revisions

The APMA Scholarship Foundation reserves the right to review the terms and conditions of this scholarship program and to make changes at any time, including termination of the program.  Previously approved scholarship awards will not be affected by subsequent changes to the program.
